A field-workflow update based on the first real customer job completed during closed testing.
Estimate approval
- Added approval records for customer signature, phone, in-person, text, email, and other methods.
- Made approval notes optional and required a drawn signature only when Customer signature is selected.
- Corrected the Estimated → Approved → Active status flow and immediate status refresh.
Payments and receipts
- Added required payment-method selection when a job is marked Paid.
- Added cash, card, check, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, bank transfer, other mobile payment, and other methods.
- Added the payment method to Paid Job Reports and paid detailed, summary, and payment receipts.
Signatures and reliability
- Clarified that completion signatures are optional and do not block completing or receipting a job.
- Fixed backup creation for older immutable receipt snapshots that predate the new approval fields.
- Preserved approval and payment details through restart, backup, and restore.
