Terms of Use

Rules and responsibilities for using the JobFrame product family and website.

1. Acceptance

By using the JobFrame Android app, JobFrame Image Converter, or jobframe.app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable product or website.

2. Product family and purpose

JobFrame is a family of focused Android products. The main JobFrame app is a business productivity tool for customer, job, estimate, receipt, follow-up, photo, signature, permission, export, and backup workflows. JobFrame Image Converter is a separate utility for local image selection, editing, conversion, resizing, saving, sharing, and related image-library workflows.

The products may share branding and website infrastructure, but they are separate apps with different features, data, release states, and product-specific responsibilities.

3. Not legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice

JobFrame does not provide legal, tax, accounting, licensing, pricing, code-compliance, marketing-compliance, records-management, or regulatory advice. Document labels, suggested workflows, export mappings, consent fields, filters, conversions, and calculations do not replace professional advice or the user's responsibility to comply with applicable laws, contracts, policies, and industry requirements.

4. User content and lawful use

You are responsible for the accuracy, lawfulness, and appropriateness of information, images, documents, records, filenames, and other content you enter, select, edit, convert, save, export, or share through a JobFrame product. You must have the rights and authority needed to use that content.

5. Main JobFrame app responsibilities

Users of the main JobFrame app are responsible for customer and business records, including names, contact details, notes, prices, measurements, estimate terms, tax treatment, payment status, signatures, permissions, activity records, and retained historical revisions.

You are responsible for presenting appropriate disclosures, separating transactional receipt delivery from promotional communications, honoring opt-outs and revocations, reviewing outreach drafts before sending, and obtaining permission before using customer photos or information in advertising or social media.

You are also responsible for reviewing estimates and receipts before delivery and for deciding whether a price, term, signature method, document type, record-retention period, or workflow is suitable for your business and jurisdiction.

6. Image Converter responsibilities

Users of JobFrame Image Converter are responsible for choosing appropriate source images, output formats, editing settings, resizing options, filenames, save locations, and share destinations. You should inspect converted output before relying on, publishing, or distributing it.

Format compatibility, decoded appearance, compression, color handling, transparency, metadata behavior, file size, and third-party-app support can vary by Android version, device, source file, destination format, and recipient software. Image Converter does not guarantee that every third-party program or service will display or accept every output format in the same way.

7. Customer information, permissions, and outreach

If you use the main JobFrame app to store customer information, you must have an appropriate business reason and legal basis for doing so. JobFrame prepares user-directed drafts and exports but does not guarantee legal compliance, successful delivery, recipient identity, or that a selected email, messaging, storage, or social app will preserve all content exactly as prepared.

8. Estimates, approvals, receipts, and revisions

Current JobFrame estimate approval is performed in person on the business's Android device; browser-based remote approval is not currently provided. Issued estimates and receipts may be preserved as historical snapshots, and corrections may create additional revisions rather than replacing the original. You are responsible for selecting and delivering the intended revision.

9. Local storage, backups, saved files, and data loss

JobFrame products are local-first. Users are responsible for protecting devices, creating appropriate external backups where the product supports them, and protecting files that have been saved or exported. Clearing app data, deleting app-managed content, uninstalling an app, losing or damaging a device, storage failure, operating-system changes, or user error may result in data loss.

Files saved to Downloads, another folder, cloud storage, email, another device, or another app are outside JobFrame's app-managed storage and must be managed at those destinations.

10. Third-party services and Google Play

Android, Google Play, email, messaging, storage, social, cloud, printing, accounting, file-provider, Bluetooth, Quick Share, and other third-party services operate under their own terms. JobFrame is not responsible for their availability, security, delivery, compatibility, fees, policy changes, or handling of information after you choose to use them.

Google Play may handle app distribution, testing access, purchases, or subscriptions as applicable to a product. Google Play transactions are governed by Google's applicable terms and policies.

11. Acceptable use

You may not use a JobFrame product or website to create fraudulent records, misrepresent services, conceal illegal activity, violate another person's privacy or intellectual property rights, send unlawful marketing, distribute malware, process content you have no right to use, attack the service, or interfere with the operation of an app or website.

12. Intellectual property

JobFrame software, branding, design, documentation, website content, and bundled visual assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of JobFrame. You retain responsibility for and rights you lawfully hold in your business records, customer content, source images, and other user-provided content.

13. Updates, testing, and product changes

JobFrame may add, change, suspend, or remove features and may release products through production, testing, or other distribution tracks. Testing builds can contain unfinished behavior. Users should preserve important data and inspect results when installing significant updates or participating in testing.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobFrame products and jobframe.app are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, universal format compatibility, fitness for a particular purpose, legal compliance, or permanent data availability.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobFrame and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business-interruption damages; lost profits; lost opportunities; lost data; customer disputes; regulatory penalties; conversion or compatibility problems; or third-party service failures arising from use of a product or website.

16. Ending use

You may stop using a JobFrame product at any time. Access to future hosted or account-based services may be suspended or terminated for misuse, security threats, nonpayment, or violation of applicable terms, with additional service-specific terms provided before such services launch when appropriate.

17. Product-specific terms and policies

A product may have additional notices, privacy disclosures, store terms, or service terms that supplement these Terms. JobFrame Image Converter's detailed privacy policy is available at jobframe.app/apps/image-converter/privacy/.

18. Changes to these Terms

The effective date will be updated when these Terms change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
