Privacy Policy
How the JobFrame product family handles information in its apps, website, and support channels.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the JobFrame Android application, JobFrame Image Converter, jobframe.app, and support communications sent to the official JobFrame email address. The two Android apps are separate products and do not necessarily collect, store, or process the same information.
JobFrame Image Converter also has a detailed product-specific policy at jobframe.app/apps/image-converter/privacy/. That page provides additional detail about Image Converter's image selection, Image Library, conversion output, temporary files, saving, and sharing.
2. Local-first product operation
The current JobFrame products are designed around local device processing and storage. Neither app requires a JobFrame-operated cloud account for its core workflow. Information stays on the Android device unless the user chooses to save, export, share, back up, or send information through another app or service, or unless a future optional service is introduced with updated disclosures.
3. JobFrame app information
The main JobFrame app is a business productivity tool. Depending on how it is used, locally stored information may include:
- Business names, contact details, logos, icons, and social or review links
- Customer names, preferred greetings, phone numbers, email addresses, and service or billing addresses
- Customer tags, notes, follow-up dates, activity history, archived status, and linked job history
- Job titles, categories, notes, prices, quantities, measurements, estimates, terms, revisions, and payment information
- Before-and-after photos, uploaded images, estimate approvals, completion signatures, and signer details
- Receipt delivery choices, promotional communication choices, photo-use permissions, and Do Not Contact status
- Templates, personalized drafts, generated PDFs, exports, and backup files
4. JobFrame sharing, drafts, and backups
JobFrame can prepare PDFs, photos, email drafts, text-message drafts, and backup files for user-directed sharing. JobFrame does not automatically send outreach. If the user chooses Gmail, Messages, Drive, Quick Share, Bluetooth, a file provider, social platform, or another app, that third party receives information under its own terms and privacy practices.
JobFrame backup ZIPs may contain sensitive business and customer records, including names, notes, signatures, photos, consent records, receipt history, outreach drafts, and templates. Current backups are not password encrypted. Users are responsible for choosing a secure destination and controlling access to exported files.
5. JobFrame permissions, approvals, and business responsibilities
JobFrame can record separate choices for receipt delivery, promotional email, promotional text messages, and use of job photos. The business using JobFrame is responsible for presenting accurate disclosures, honoring customer choices and revocations, reviewing drafts, and complying with laws that apply to its communications, advertising, records, and business practices.
Current estimate approval is performed in person on the business's Android device. JobFrame does not currently operate browser-based customer approval links or a hosted approval portal.
6. JobFrame Image Converter image handling
JobFrame Image Converter performs image selection, decoding, editing, resizing, conversion, and encoding on the Android device. The app does not upload selected images to a JobFrame-operated server for conversion.
The app accesses images the user selects through Android's system file picker. A selected source can be retained as one app-managed local copy in the Image Library so it can be reused later. The Image Library is stored in the app's private storage on the Android device.
7. Image Converter output, temporary files, saving, and sharing
Image Converter can create JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, JPEG XL, and PDF output locally. Newly encoded image output does not intentionally copy camera, GPS, or other source metadata. The app may create temporary local output, previews, or working files so results can be displayed, saved, or shared.
Users choose when and where output is saved. When a user chooses Share, Save, a pinned quick-share shortcut, a file provider, cloud-storage provider, messaging app, email app, Bluetooth, Quick Share, or another destination, that third party may receive the file under its own terms and privacy practices.

8. Google Play and payment information
JobFrame products distributed through Google Play may use Google Play for app distribution, purchases, subscriptions, or testing access as applicable to the product. Google handles payment transactions under Google's terms and privacy practices. JobFrame does not receive or store a user's payment-card number from Google Play.
9. Website information
jobframe.app is currently a static informational website and does not use JobFrame advertising cookies or a JobFrame analytics system. Hosting, network, and security providers may process routine technical request information such as IP address, browser details, requested page, date, time, and security signals to operate and protect the website.
10. Support communications
If a person contacts JobFrame support, JobFrame receives the email address, message, attachments, screenshots, and other information voluntarily provided. Support messages may be retained as needed to respond, diagnose problems, maintain a record of the interaction, and improve the relevant product.
Users should avoid sending private customer records or private source images unless a support request specifically requires a safe diagnostic example. Personal information should be redacted where possible.
11. Deletion and user control
JobFrame users can delete supported records, archive customers and jobs, restore archived records, or use Clear All App Data. Image Converter users can delete individual retained images from the Image Library or use its explicit Delete entire library action. Uninstalling an app or clearing its storage may remove app-managed local data.
Files previously exported, saved to Downloads, sent by email, copied to cloud storage, shared to another device, or handed to another app must be deleted from those destinations separately.
12. Security
JobFrame uses reasonable application and release practices, but no device, storage method, transmission, or software system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should protect their Android device, use screen locking, maintain appropriate backups, and avoid sharing sensitive files unnecessarily.
13. Children
JobFrame products are productivity and utility tools and are not directed to children under 13. JobFrame does not knowingly operate an account service through these products for collecting personal information from children.
14. Future services and integrations
Future products or versions may offer optional remote approval, cloud services, direct delivery, accounting integrations, account features, remote storage, analytics, or other connected services. This policy will be updated before a material change to JobFrame's data handling, and additional authorization or consent may be required.
15. Changes to this policy
The effective date will be updated when this policy changes. Material changes may also be described in an app, release notes, product-specific privacy page, or the website.
