Privacy Policy

How JobFrame handles information in the Android app and on this website.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the JobFrame Android application, the JobFrame website, and support communications sent to the official JobFrame email address.

2. Current local-first app operation

JobFrame currently does not require a JobFrame account and does not automatically synchronize the user's working customer or job records to a JobFrame-operated cloud service. The app stores its working data locally on the Android device.

3. Information users may enter

Depending on how the app is used, locally stored records may include:

  • Business names, contact details, logos, icons, and social or review links
  • Customer display or company names, optional prefixes, first and last names, preferred greeting names, phone numbers, email addresses, and service or billing addresses
  • Customer tags, internal notes, follow-up dates, activity history, archived status, and linked job history
  • Job titles, categories, internal notes, prices, quantities, measurements, estimates, terms, revisions, and payment information
  • Before-and-after photos, uploaded images, estimate approval, completion signatures, and signer details
  • Receipt delivery choices, promotional email choices, promotional text choices, photo-use permissions, and Do Not Contact status
  • Job templates, outreach templates, personalized drafts, generated PDFs, exports, and backup files

4. Sharing, drafts, and third-party apps

JobFrame can prepare PDFs, photos, email drafts, text-message drafts, and backup files for user-directed sharing. JobFrame does not automatically send outreach. When a user selects Gmail, Messages, Drive, Quick Share, Bluetooth, a file provider, social platform, or another app, that third party receives information under its own terms and privacy practices. JobFrame does not control the recipient app after the user chooses it.

5. Backups

Backup ZIPs may contain sensitive customer and business records, including structured names, internal notes, signatures, photos, consent records, receipt history, outreach drafts, and templates. Backups are not currently password encrypted. Users are responsible for choosing a secure destination and controlling who can access exported files.

6. Permissions and consent records

The app can record separate choices for receipt delivery, promotional email, promotional text messages, and use of job photos. Outreach eligibility is recalculated from the current stored choices. The business using JobFrame is responsible for presenting accurate disclosures, honoring customer choices and revocations, reviewing every draft, and complying with laws that apply to its communications and advertising.

7. Estimate approval

Current estimate approval is performed in person on the business's Android device. JobFrame does not currently operate browser-based customer approval links or a hosted approval portal. This policy will be updated before a future hosted approval service is introduced.

8. Website information

This website is currently a static informational site and does not use JobFrame advertising cookies or a JobFrame analytics system. Hosting and network providers may process routine technical request information—such as IP address, browser details, requested page, date, time, and security signals—to operate and protect the website.

9. Support communications

If a person contacts JobFrame support, JobFrame receives the email address, message, attachments, and other information voluntarily provided. Support messages may be retained as needed to answer the request, diagnose problems, maintain a record of the interaction, and improve the product.

10. Data deletion

Users can delete supported individual records, archive customers and jobs, restore archived records, or use the Clear All App Data feature. Uninstalling the app may also remove local data. Files previously exported to Downloads, cloud storage, email, another device, or another app must be deleted from those destinations separately.

11. Security

JobFrame uses reasonable application and release practices, but no device, storage method, transmission, or software system can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should protect the Android device, use screen locking, maintain external backups, and avoid sharing sensitive files unnecessarily.

12. Children

JobFrame is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. JobFrame does not knowingly operate an account service intended to collect personal information from children.

13. Future services and integrations

Future versions may offer optional remote estimate approval, cloud services, direct delivery, accounting integrations, or account features. This policy will be updated before those services are introduced, and additional authorization or consent may be required.

14. Changes to this policy

The effective date will be updated when this policy changes. Material changes may also be described in the app, release notes, or website.

15. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
